Australian APRA winning dance sensations The Potbelleez are
back ripping dance floors apart, having emerged from their Bondi
Beach ‘Wonderland' studio where they have been writing and
recording their second album ‘Destination Now'. The album is coproduced
by Australian dance legend and multiple ARIA Award
winner Paul Mac (Itchee & Scratchee, The Dissociatives) and
Shave (4x UK Top10 and US Top5 productions).
The Potbelleez' much anticipated return is rocking fans across the
country as their fresh, energetic sounds make a splash across radio
and television alike. ‘Hello' was the first smash single from the
sophomore album Destination Now; it was the number #1 Most
Added track to Australian radio in July, shooting up the Aria Top 40
Singles chart and snatching ARIA Gold certification. The follow-up
single ‘Shake It' has grabbed the baton and made an equally
impressive sprint to the top of radio playlists, boasting Most Added
Australian track across the board to radio at the end of October.
The Potbelleez legendary live show has hit every major festival in
the country including Global Gathering, MTV Snowjam, Future
Music Festival, Good Vibrations, We Love Sounds, Homebake and
the MTV Awards. They have also headlined incredible events such
as The Australian Grand Prix, ‘A-League' Football Grand Final,
Channel 10's live NYE broadcast at Darling Harbour, the Australian
Idol Finale on the Sydney Opera House steps, The AFL Footy Show
finale at the Rod Laver Arena, The NRL Footy Show finale, and the
Galaxy VS Jets game with David Beckham. The Potbelleez also
recently performed at the ARIAs on the Opera House steps, and
have just been confirmed for the entire Australian Usher ‘OMG'
tour!
